Welcome to another wonderful summer at the Lake by the Woods. We look forward to having a fun and valuable summer living the Swedish language and culture. On behalf of the entire Sjölunden and credit staff let me express my deepest appreciation for your choice to make Sjölunden a part of your life. We are honored to have the opportunity to work with all the credit students and we look forward to another inspiring summer experience.
This summer, as part of our credit program, students will continue exploring the role of media in Sweden. We will be looking at how we define and understand the role of media in contemporary Swedish life, as well as comparing our new knowledge with that of other familiar media. This ongoing discussion will take place primarily during our Kultur lesson each day. The highlight of this course will be the creation of a website and blog designed and edited by the students themselves. We strongly encourage you to take some time to explore all this website has to offer.
